Yahoo Chat

I came here hoping to get some help about getting booted out of Yahooo chat rooms. What I found, was a bunch of replies by people who OBVIOUSLY dont use Yahoo. I can tell you that I have been using Yahoo chat for years and am very knowelegable about waht happens inm those chat rooms. For example: The latest hackers can boot u, EVEN IF U DONT CLICK ON ANYHING! The instant message window appears and it's already too late! They DO NOT HAVE 2 B in your Buddy list! And having the latest version of Yahoo messenger wont help. I was however thankful to learn that there are some "Anti Boot programs" out there? If this is truse, will someone please send me the names of some of them. I would appreciate any response and welcome all opinions here. Frankly, I think iut's time to fight back........And reporting them to Yahoo, does no good whatsoever. Thanks

 

If you notice, most of the replies are from people who signed up simply to post that one message. In other words, you are probably right, they don't use Yahoo.

But the main reason the thread was closed was because it contained links to "booter" websites, and the discussion (appart from being in the wrong forum to start with) was not productive. In fact, it was anything BUT productive. The thread had a ludicrous ammount of views and was obviously a high hit in search engines for certain terms.

Oh and don't refer to script kiddies as "hackers", because they are not by any stretch of the imagination, and the REAL hackers don't like that sort of image being associated with them .

If you really think that this discussion can be carried on productivley (i.e. helping find a way to stop these script kiddie programs being used against people without resorting to badly written and in themselves "hacked" programs), then perhaps this should be moved to software.

Its not my choice to decide.
