Yahoo crashing

as soon as yahoo logs on it crashes and i get no error. If i got windows live messenger open i can see my yahoo id sign on then go right off line so i know it cant be a connection problem yahoo is just messing up. it all started today when i connected to the internet yahoo locked up right at the point where its going to show your buddies and tell you "you have e-mails" so i ended it and reopened it and it started this i have tried a repair install of it count less restarts of windows. i am just about to see if theres a updated one to try right now my version is 8.1.0.209 it may of went back to a older version when i did a repair install.

 

People complaining about same @ yahoo, might be something down or only other thing I can think of is XP updated home/office pc w/some sec update last nite. I would wait a day n see if it's them. Use to have a status page, but I can't find.

 

i use meebo.com and it works great, might be worth a try.

 

Its working again. I guess they were having the problem and not me
