Yahoo email - can't receive?

I, too, cannot receive Yahoo Email from a certain individual. Though uncertain, this seemed to occur after I uninstalled an unwanted Yahoo toolbar from my OE (or IE?)browser after their game download?

I connect to the Internet with DSL using the Internet Explorer (IE) browser; and to email using the Outlook Express (OE) browser. This is a new Dell computer that came loaded with the Vista Premium program.

Hi and Welcome to Majorgeeks

Could you clarify some areas as they are curious, as Vista does not have Outlook Express, it has Windows Mail, is this what your using?

If using a different email client, then which one?

If using Windows Mail do messages from all other yahoo email addresses come through ok? if they do and its Windows Mail, check SPAM Folder, then check the blocked users option and make sure their email address is not stuck their, to do this Open up Windows Mail and click Tools > Junk Email Options > Blocked Senders and if their email address is their, then highlight and click remove > Apply and have them send another email to test.

Halo ~ Thank you for your reply. My Vista program does use the Windows Mail email browser. That is Window Mail email client, none other. Sorry for any confusion.

I do not have any other contacts using a Yahoo web mail address, so I do not know if it applies to more than one Yahoo recipient. I have checked my "Junk" Folder and there is no email there.

Following your instructions, there are no "Blocked Senders" listed in my Junk Mail Tools option either.
