Yahoo email - can't receive?

Maybe this is the wrong forum for this question - please bump to where appropriate.

I can't receive messages into my Yahoo account from one particular individual. My messages are received by that person - and when they hit 'reply' - I don't get anything back. He receives no notification that it is bounced or undeliverable. Is there any way I can retrieve these messages from the main YAHOO server? I'm not using a POP.

Any ideas on how to retrieve? No filters or blocks are in place.

did you try to get the mails, or are you talking about instant messaging?, through Outlook, Outlook Express or another e-mail program?
Also if possible, can we get some system specs, like the way you connect to internet (cable, dial-up,..), operating system,...
