Yahoo email

Is there anyway to get back my yahoo account from some idiot that changed my password? I know that system where you send your email and pass and you get the other pass back thing doesnt work..so what will?? They also put in a different secret info thingy...HELP

 

I know of a few people that had this done to them and they tired it all. Hate to say it,but I don't think you'll get it back. Did you lose it though Yahoo messenger,if someone sends you a instance message with a link attached and you click it on,then that link asks for your id and password BAM they got you. This has been going around for quiet some time now,that link is then sent back to who ever sent it and they have your id and password. Never click on a link in Yahoo Messenger even if you know the person.

So you gave your signin and pass to someone, perhaps a former friend or significant other, who then changed the info and took the account from you? I'm unclear on what you mean by intentionally.

Unfortunately along with the ease and anonymity of Yahoo accounts comes relatively little security. They don't force you to divulge any "real" information at account creation, so there's no way for them to tell who had what account first, and since they're free accounts there's no reason for them to spend the man hours to even try to get to the bottom of it. You're probably just stuck creating a new account I'm afraid.
