    Hi

When i try to log in to yahoo mail I get this message:

There is a problem with this website's security certificate.

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server.

I''ve updated my browser and even tried retyping the address rather than use my bookmarks etc but i keep getting this error. This error does not appear on my other computer though. Could my browser be hijacked.

I should add that i installed Kaspersky internet security recently and this may be a factor since the problem was not present earlier

    Advice?

    Hi

    Which browser you using?

Double check that your PCs clock and Bios clock times are accurate, if not adjust.

But if IE7 then in many cases delete your temps and cookies then try again, if same message then in a majority of cases accepting and continuing will fix this, although you need to be 100% certain that the site your viewing is indeed the legit website in yahoo mail.

    Some IE7 info http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931850/en-us

BUT I would suggest running a few security scans as well to double check no malware is on your PC.

Halo's advice is sound. Try disabling Kaspersky for a few minutes (right click the taskbar icon and select disable) and try to connect. If it goes through you will have to go back and allow yahoo mail in Kaspersky.

I disabled Kaspersky and tried again and it worked. After I reanabled it the problem no longer appeared.

    Thanks for your advice guys
