yahoo mess. bit.def.

hello,im new to computers.i want to use yahoo messenger,and i wanted to ask you if i need bitdefender?and is it generally safe to use?i have xp home,with NAV 2004,SG,teatimer and script defender(with extra scripts) that i think might be relevant.thank you.also is there anything else you could suggest?

 

I use yahoo messenger, and I'm not using anything you just mentioned.

 

thank you acejones.i think i was getting muddled-up with bitdefender,its a p2p file transfer,i think.the reason i asked,is people i know say there's no problems using yho mes,but they also dont know anything about AV AT spyware adware etc.ill download yho. mes. there is something else,i hope im not taking this too seriously,but there is a messenger (windows messenger+?)were you have to do custom install to disable either adware or spyware.does this apply to yahoo?
