Yahoo Messenger Account problem

Hi All ... This one is a dozzie! I tried very hard to find the right forum for this question. I hope I've landed in the right place. About 3 weeks ago my friend deleted my ID and Password for Yahoo Messenger to log on to hers. When I went back on later I noticed it was gone. It has been a long time since I let anyone use my laptop. I say that because I always keep my passwords saved. I could not remember my password. The last laptop I had was snatched right out of my hands in the street. So I rushed to my friends house to change the password. I never right this stuff down. I'm often teased to leave my brain to science because everything is stored in their. Just thought never to write stuff down. I also never gave the right info except for banking matters and such. I am now a changed woman. I got locked out for a while. When I got back in I clicked for got my password. Couldn't remember secret question or nothing didn't use real birthday. But yahoo send new password to alternative e mail and it didn't say "sent". So I go to hotmail to check and low and behold it's now Windows Live. I put in my hotmail Id and Password and it said invalide. So I had to sign up for Windows Live. I did and it shows my Hotmail user ID is available. If it does not exist who the heck did Yahoo send my pass to. Ok then I clicked forgot my Hotmail password. Guess what the alternative e mail is you guessed it "Yahoo". So both have been reset and sent to each other and I am locked out of both. Pleeeeeeeeeease Help someone. I even called the bank I used to pay for Yahoo Voice service. They needed the last 8 number of the card my husband used. Well that account is closed and the cut up card on a garbage barge headed to some poor third world country. I even tried those password retrievers. Deleted them all because I don't know how to use them. My life is in that account. Sorry didn't know how to make a looooong story short. Hi DomLuc... Just so I'd know the next time what catagory should this post have gone under. Thank you for your response. Oh and by the way not writing down such important information is not "slightly ridiculous" it's very stupid of me if I may be hard on myself. I've changed that bad habit thank you again very much.

 

Have you tried contacting Yahoo support? explain the situation to them and see what they can do.
