Yahoo Messenger

I have been having trouble for sometime and I am getting very frustrated.

I play yahoo games with a site. I have been adding people to my messenger from the league. They show up on the messenger, but when I go into yahoo game rooms, they are not in blue like they should be. I have used messenger for years, so ones I added years ago do show up in blue, but not one I have added in the last month or so.
I have tried logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing works. I did post a message at yahoo, but got no answer there.
Any ideas?

you will see a button "contact customer care".
This will get you to a real person.
