Yahoo Messenger

I have reformatted and now in the process of downloading programs etc. I don't like the new version of Yahoo so I done a search and downloaded version 5. It won't allow me to log in. Keep getting 'connecting to scb.msg.com'

I tried downloading version 4; the same. Again tried version 5 from a different site; the same again..??

No probs with version 6 though.. is Yahoo somehow blocking these earlier versions? 3 days ago my version 5 was working great, no I go to use again, and it won't connect??

Anyone help with this one?
