Yahoo messenger

Well yesterday i downloaded the new and "improved" yahoo messenger, well the problem i have is it wont let me in chat rooms i get a error message sayin "request denied". I was wondering if i can fix this problem or if theres anyway i can go back to my older version. Contact me in yahoo if you have answer or post here dont care whichever you want. Are you using either Windows ME or Windows XP by any chance? If so; since you just installed the new yahoo messenger yesterday; have you tried using the System Restore utility?

You might not want to leave your email like that in the open spam bots are always looking for new customers to dump their spam into.

 

That never happened to me before, and i turn system restore off so theres no way i can go back, and i dont get help from yahoo help.

 

Heres your answer:
If your account is set for under 18 then it will say "request refused".
No more chat access for minors
Minors (those under 18) will no longer be able to access Yahoo! Chat.
You will be presented with the error: "Chat Error: This Request was Refused". This is a permanent change. Also, all the teen rooms have been removed, as there is no teens in chat anymore! This is in a continued effort by Yahoo! to remove features rather than fix the issues.
