Yahoo not displaying contact list!

Somebody please help me! I have Yahoo Messenger 9.0 the new beta program. I loaded up Yahoo earlier and I entered chat and started conversing with my friends, no problem. For some reason Yahoo crashed. I reloaded and when I got back up my contact list wouldn't display. Decided to do a virus scan starting spybot to look for spyware. It found some and I deleted them. I did a scan with both ad aware and spy sweeper (my store bought AV program) both nothing and they both have latest updates along with spybot. I tried reinstalling 9.0, nothing. I don't know what else to look for. I don't know if it's a problem with the beta or something is here on my PC that I haven't found yet. I never had this problem before. Somebody please help I've done everything I could think of except a HiJackThis scan.

Hi

Beta's are prone to unusual issues at times, so to double check its not something else causing this revert back to previous version and check again.

Run a cleanup of temps, junk files and registry, with the likes of CCleaner as there maybe left over installer files that can cause software issues.

Also if you have Spybots Teatimer running disable it as it can affect items being saved inthe registry and cause some apps to behave wrongly.

As soon as I went back to 8.1 the contact list came back. Thank you, I guess I'll have to wait till they fix the bugs.
