yahoo option?

    Vista or XP Home?

    Do a search for Yahoo and delete whatever Yahoo findings that are not related to your "yahoo web based communicator". What ever that is?

    Looks like the right click in FF, check your add-ons under Tools (in Firefox) for a Yahoo entry and uninstall it, if you don't use it.

    Right click the add-on if you find it and it should tell you what Yahoo program it is, just in case it's connected to your Web Mail.

    that wasnt even loaded, I did a search and deleted all the yahoo shit before posting this thread

    watchtv, whenever you install anything, select custom install rather than default. You'd be surprised at how many programs want to install things you neither want nor need. It is easier to unselect from a custom install rather than going back later and trying to remove something and not being sure which program it installed with.

    I actually do that when I install crap, programs love to install the google and yahoo tool bars
    and usually I say no to them, which is why I was suprised with teh yahoo option on my menu, it's not on the add/remove list

    It's not just with crap. Sun java update 13 wants to add a toolbar. Foxit reader want to add a toolbar. Those are just two I updated lately and remember.
