Yahoo Pages Don't Load

I've read a few other threads left by people with similar problems, but the solutions suggested to them don't help.

For some reason, I can no longer access any pages on yahoo.com. I can see the main page and the login page, but nothing else loads. When I try to logon, I get a "This Page Can Not Be Displayed" error.

Before that, I see that it's trying to redirect me to https://login.yahoo.com/config/verify?.done=http%3a//my.yahoo.com

The %3a part at the end looks odd, but I've never had reason to notice if that's common or not.

I've run adaware and spybot and checked my hosts file, which is empty.

I'm having this problem on both my desktop and laptop. Everything was working fine last night. I rebooted this morning and the problems began. I was trying to install a wireless card on an old laptop with win98 earlier in the day yesterday, but I don't think I made any changes that would affect anything. It's a linksys router and wireless card.

I've posted my Hijack This file for the laptop incase it will help. The yahoo sbc files I don't need anymore. They are for a phone connection and account that is no longer used. Would removing them help?

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.

    Welcome to MG!

read this posting about Hijack This. Download and install all that is shown in the thread, and then see if that corrects your problems...

    Not a networking problem either.

I don't think the Yahoo issue is yours alone. I have been having the same problem since yesterday, and found reference to this issue at another web forum, with many people reporting the same problem.

    Thank you for reply.

In basic terms with you mentioning that the same thing happened to you as me and others, does it become a waiting game for people at Yahoo and or the company that handles their tech stuff (Starts with an a) to fix the situation and we are in limbo until then?

I don't have any tech knowledge but wouldn't you think corporations that size could get almost anything done in the 32 + hours this is going on?

    Thank you!!
