I think this is a sound driver problem but not sure. Looked on driverguide for the driver for this and found nothing that worked. It seems to be installed when xp was loaded onto my laptop however, when I'm watching a dvd or a flash clip on the net, the sound will suddenly cut out after a few seconds. If its a dvd, it'll play the first 5 minutes fine and then cut out, but flash movies cut out after a few seconds. When I restart the movie/dvd the sound works and cuts out again. Anyone know where I can get a better driver for this?

Your problem may not necessarily be a sound driver problem. It almost sounds like a buffering or cache problem. On some systems a small buffer or cache can cause sound or display glitches when running media. Try adjusting the buffer or cache settings to allow for a larger buffer or cache in whatever media player your using to view these movies and see if that helps. If not then there is a utility that is shown here at MAJORGEEKS.COM that can create a cache on your hard drive for your media players

I hope this helps. If not let us know and maybe someone can find your driver.
