   Yesterday I was unzipping some files and my desktop went blank. I have to icons, no shortcuts nothing. I have vista on my computer and the side bar and gadgets are working but that is it.. HELP....

   Well, the obvious first questions: Will the problem go away in Safe Mode? Would the zipped files in question cause the problem? Antivirus, -malware programs updated and running?
