Hi all, I know you probably get this a lot but I keep having fps problems and I was just wondering if anyone could help out.

I've been to and tried any/all links I could find to fix it but I can't seem to figure out what the problem is :(

    System
OP: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
    Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz (2 CPUs)
    Memory 1536MB RAM

    Display
    Device
    Name: Radeon x700 Series
    Current Display Mode: 1440 x 900 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Um, I guess that's all you should need for specs really, as far as more detail on the problems...

In CS (1.6) I seem to get a very unsteady 98 and below, 98 being a peak from when I'm in a game with a low amount of people and not doing anything. In W.o.W. I can only get around 40fps and under just standing around with everything set to performance (draw distant/object both seem to really lower it to under 20).

Also, one other thing, this happened after the fact, those both have been problems for a while, but I installyed another hard drive but whenever I try to access stuff on my F: drive it will work for a little bit but then lag my computer completely. Also, it disappears a lot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Due to the gnarliness of the color you chose to type with, I couldn't read more than about 5 words before my head started pounding, then I threw up. Please post using a legible typeface.

Ignore first two posts, one needs to work on his manners, the other on his facts.

98 ping in CS and 40 in Wow is normal for an average system. I can get 70+ in Wow, but I have a lot of newer hardware. Keep in mind, they human eye can not tell the difference above 30 or so FPS, so getting above 30 is just a bonus.
