Chatrooms don't work. Messageboard users are in a wide range of different timezones and have different schedules.. the beauty of a messageboard is you don't need to be online to hold a conversation.

But we have tried IRC, and it got boring pretty quick

 

I like the idea of kicking back in the lounge
If I wanted a conversation with someone(or visa versa)

I would use aim, msn etc. . . .
but I don't

I do have things to do(really)

3rd time I've noticed is been suggested since I joined, it might have happened a while before I joined though.

There was a voice conference thing one, which was kinda kool

yeah, i remember when i joined i tried to start up an irc channel. at first gott, goldy, and bluesman came, then flea. then gott left, then goldy, then bluesman, then everyone else.

My 2 cents,,,A message board forum like this is ment to be shared, and seen by all who come, thats the concept to a message board !!!!!! There is the option so send an occasional PM , but the core is information exchange, if people would not see the messages ,,whats the piont I ask ? LOL use your IM /AOL/ICQ for private stuff ,, come here to share !! Glenn
