Sometimes when I'm bored I watch the spanish channels and I try to guess what they're saying. Its kind of fun. You should try it sometime.

if im bored i go to the shopping channels or something stupid like that waiting for them to make a mistake or break one of the models or something. i've seen it happen twice so far!

I like watching the TV auction channels during the day when absolutley nobody is buying anything, despite the auctioneer bloke getting really excited about the product ("WOW look at these amazing sunglasses!!!") I've also seen one go slightly mad in the process. It was rather odd to say the least.

My eyes are too tired to focus clearly, thunderboomers are rolling through and the lights are flickering, went to a good burger joint with a friend for dinner and now have heartburn, tried to call Eric & Cindy and they've apparently already gone to bed, and I'd be happier if everybody was here & happy still, but THINGS are doing just fine.

I'm peachy. I'm still doing battle with the puter. my hubby sez I'm a Luddite. (for those of you who did not study English history, the Luddites were an extreme religious group, born out of the abject poverty brought about by the industrial revolution. they were led by a man called Ludd. they believed that 'the devil was in the machinery'. they hung him, of course). so far Ive had software that "corrupts itself'. hardware that 'doesn't like each other', and programs named 'MAD executioner, Chorus daemon (pronounced demon)'!!! i sometimes have the ability to stop machines from working just by looking at them. i think its the intrinsic 'good' in my soul that they don't like. i suppose i should feel grateful that my puter cooperates at all, but i get the impression that its just biding its time to reduce my defenses until it can 'get me'! lol.

Well, if you even HAVE a computer, you don't qualify as a Luddite. My Mom is a Luddite. Dad has a computer, although writing a letter and checking email is about the extent of his expertise. Defrag happens when I'm able to actually be there. But Mom refuses to touch it at all.

thats like saying if i have a car i dont qualify! i hafta have a puter, and i hafta learn how to use it.
my cars, by and large kinda get used to me. when they break i talk softly to them in encouraging tones. i keep them clean and sweet smelling, i drive with respect for their limitationss, i learn about their little idiosyncrasis. i only allow trusted people to mess with them. most important....i get them blessed. i am hoping the puter wil be the same. that i can 'convert' it to my side. lol aloha
