what do you think of that statement?

 

hmmm, it's a very limiting statement.
i've got six computers at home that i use for different purposes

 

Maybe the statement was accurate if the you was singular, depends very much on who it was said to and the circumstances.

Close on complete nonsense for many other computer users (and many non-computer users that don't own a computer but own/use devices/vehicles that incorporate them).

 

To me, that's like saying you can only have one T-shirt.

wonder if its hard to get driver for cd drive or i could duel boot with win 95

I have One Notebook(Acer Aspire 315) & a Huawei Phone(P 30 Lite 128GB)and I don't need more as I am the only individual at the address.

 

i like 4 ... two laptops and i can just close them if i want to get out the door fast without some damn update thing

Over the years I've managed to accumulate WAY too many, LOL.

The main rig, the living room, the den, the Surface tablet in the garage, the Nexus tablet in the warehouse, the ThinkPad for portability/OBD stuff, the Note9 cell phone, the legacy machines in storage...

Do we count game consoles or virtual machines?

 

Smartphone on the go and laptop at home - both which I have had for some years and continue with daily updates to meet all my needs without having to upgrade either of them. Though I admit, I am not into games so computer usage would vary to yours
