    Hi

Yes you can use this Free app Freemake Video Converter

DO read the limitations bit at the bottom of the page and when installing choose custom install and note what the install steps are asking you and do not install the toolbars or agree to the game that can install as well.

These ad sponsored apps are fine so long as you note what they are asking when installing, I have installed it ok and tested and it did not on the music video (already have the artists album playing so just choose a videosong of hers to test) I tested it on also save the advert bit.

Actually looks a great neatly setup app.

Tested on Win8 64bit, bit should be fine for WinXP etc

GREAT and thanks.... you guys here are the BEST!!

not sure if I understand though if I will also get the advertisement too?

I see that link has a download for drivers too... with an old XP, should I be updating my old drivers?

sorry to ask so many questions

    Hi

No on the test I did of (love Sam J)

I did not with this software get the advert text/audio on the track. Maybe the thing to copy and paste the URL to the video into the app as it has the option to do this.

NO on drivers if your PC is working ok now leave it be.

Absolutely no problems on asking questions and ask as many as you like, better to speak/type up then be silent.

okay I will try that converter... oh, I hope I can do this.

My computer has mini crashed 3 times... had to delete some java files and then windows 32 files that went bad somehow but for now hasn't done this in a week or so.....

would that warrant having the drivers checked and updated? I don't know.

    Hi

If your PC has crashed then the error message and or code would help diagnose the cause.

Drivers updated well possibly but only get them from your PC or Motherboard maker and not randomly via a driver updater app or the internet as many PCs have custom hardware that need specific drivers over unified ones.

Windows 32 files? why did you have to delete these as in the main deleting these could cause your PC to become unstable as this is a Windows System folder, and if you are having to delete files here then suspect malware.

java was causing trouble and then I just deleted it all...
one of the windows I think was trouble ...

things have been running okay now for two weeks... :) guess I'll just set on it
    for a while and see
