Your computer is infected!

Hello, I'm Jared.

I can't figure out what I can do about this message that keeps popping up from the red shield in the tray on the bottom right hand of my screen.

It keeps saying that spyware has infected the registry and I have scanned it with AVG several times, to no avail. I recently downloaded spyware doctor from this site and will scan and post a report.

The problem strted when I downloaded and opened a keygen program from a site my computer told me not to... I should have listened!

 

Join the club friend! Did the same thing. I just got my computer 'repaired'. Check out my thread on the Techguy.org site. The programs they had me run did the trick.

sorry, I just found the list of things to do to get rid of malware. I'll go throught the list and then come back...
