your computer may not be protected

    when I turn my computer on, I get the windows security alert icon saying firewall is turned off, your computer may not be protected.....when I check it out, the firewall is turned on. How can I get rid of this annoying popup on startup? Thanks:)

    Change the way windows notifies you.
    Click on the Security Center icon in Control Panel.
    In the left column under Resources, click Change the way Security Center alerts me. Uncheck the box in front of Firewall.
