Your latest game purchase

Well, may as well have another list one!

Mine's Resident Evil 4 *Limited Edition* - got some graphic scenes in but good gameplay and quite realistic with the actions.

 

My latest game purchase was Star Wars Battlefront 2, pretty good game for the X-Box console. I also just purchased Fifa 06 for X-Box 360, another good game for all you futbol fans.

 

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter - I was sucked in by the video clip...bought the game...then found it was buggy as hell. A regrettable purchase!

 

Yeh Kaos, I was wondering why the price dropped from $49.99 to $25.99 so quick, even after all the advertsing.


I just bought (in a package)...CC Generals/Zero Hour, Hitman2; Silent Assassin and Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. Paid only $10.00 for the wholething, but I was seriously lied to on some of the reveiws I read on Command and Conquer: D.E., that games looks good but the interface makes it very boring. I love RTS, but theres hardly any good games to choose from.
Already have RON, Starcraft and Command Conquer Generals.

I think it was Jet Moto 2, an old PlayStation 1 game I got for 25 cents at a yard sale (lol) at least its something for my small collection of PS2 games.

 

For me it would have to be Dungeon Siege II. A pretty cool game if you like RPG's.

 

Hyperblade, an oldskool raw 3d speedball 2 style game (one of the first games to use Direct 3D on Windows 95)... £2.99 from Gamestation store without a scratch on it. I used to be great at the game years ago, now I feel older and it's all moving too fast.

 

well the latest game i got i did not buy i downloaded it and it was Warbirds2006 (found here www.totalsims.com ) i been playing Warbirds for 10years now lol
but if i have to go with the Latest one i bought it would have to be Battlefield Vietnam i like the co-op on it.

I had RE4 on PS2, it's a nice game.

My latest purchase is Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. I haven't played it much, because I've been busy at school. But in the holidays I'm gonna have some fun!

Err... Halo, on the PC was the last game I purchased. The next will probably be Windows Vista.

 

Oblivion I usually finish games before moving on to the next but with oblivion I need a break so Iv got back into battlefield 2

I wanted to say that in oblivion,
that you can change difficulty in the game options...

Oh one more thing... don't put it too easy,
cause then it's like you kill everybody with 1 hit

LOL that oblivion guy I left the slider where it is which I never usually do with games I set them on the highest difficulty to get my money's worth and to be honest its the only way they challenge me

The problem with oblivion is its a mouse pounder,you just chop and hack forever,if you set it harder you just stand there longer chopping and hacking unrtil the enemy dies and afterward the enemy just respawns after a day or two

I'v made a big mistake with oblivion when I started out I decided to do every single small mission to get my money's worth before moving on to the main quest so the rewards of the smaller quests would help me as it would be pointless IMO to continue doing small quests afterward,,I'm at level 32 and just started doing the main quest and I have to say its not as good as the the smaller ones like stealing,helping villagers,assasinating people the oblivion gate levels are dull and boring to look at and the graphics look dated to me reminisant of quake 3 arena,I dont like being there,it aint fun if you ask me I just want to do more mini quests,I doubt I'll actually complete the game now as the thought of going back into oblivion and hacking away at deadra monsters doesnt appeal to me,tell me do theye get more interesting the more gates you close I'v only closed 2 or 3 so far

But the last game I intentionally bought was C&C Generals deluxe edition. AGAIN.
Before that was Battlefield 2:Special Forces

 

Recently got Deus EX II: Invisible War out of the bargain bin.

Been playing that game ever since; I was a big fan of the 1st one. This seems not quite as good but still very fun!

 

latest game purchase Neverwinter Nights (Diamond Pack) got this to play when not playing World of Warcraft.

 

I bought GRAW. Very entertaining. It's more strategic than I first imagined. I spend all my time figuring out how to keep my "buddies" alive. After, playing Oblivion, I miss the total freeform world. Even through GRAW, is not completely played in a pipe, there seems to be minimal ways to flank your enemy. Eventually, all paths funnel into a massive firefight. That can be fun, as well.

 

LoL, that same thing happened to me. I love the small quests like Dark Brotherhood or the Daedric quests. But the main quest is decent too and I like the ending cinematics...but after beating it 8 times now it has grown dull. But I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting an Expansion pack! DON'T LET ME DOWN BETHESDA!! ! ! ! ! !!! ! !! !!!! !! !!!

But...it freezes up near the end. Once I get to what I think is the final level, where everything is lit with red lights, I'm done. Poor Sith just bumps into a corner and stays there, dumbly trying to walk thru the wall.
So I've yet to finish it after almost a year now.
AMD64, 3500+ 2.8Ghz, 1G of RAM. Apparently that's not enough. The 256Mb ATI vid. card I purchased turned out to be a lousy pick, as it's PCI and I actually have 3 PCI express slots I could've used. Trouble was, when I bought this comp. last year I knew absolutely zilch about how it worked, I just bought the first vid. card I saw w/the biggest number on the box! Doh!
Maybe one day I'll finish KOTOR, w/dual PCI Express Gforce cards and 2G of RAM, maybe. :/

 

I just bought Oblivion for the PC. I haven't had a chance to play it yet, but I wanted to compare it to the 360 version. I also bought FEAR and Chaos Theory and haven't played those much. Waiting for my new laptop to arrive so I can play games on the road.

 

I just bought the movies and i've been having fun with it!
