Here I have got with WC......

 

My pc doesn't want to OC any more like it used to http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/mad.gif. Cant overclock it the slightest bit with the xtra gig of ram.

 

checking for t* your CPU and other chipset.
Load DF for ram you do no not change timmings of it.
Raising alittle more FSB at DF Vcore from 210,220,230,......until your computer can not login windows get alittle more CPU Vcore but do not go over 1v6 if you do not mod CPU heatsink. After login windows run some softs for burning like SPI, Toast, Premie, Right mark CPU, Right mark Ram, Hot CPU tester pro,......if your computer restart, hang up or getting blue screen Error mesage. inscreasing more VDim to max 2v9 (based on your mobo), and vice versa.

Stable testing by these above softs for some days or more (run at least 4 hours per day) it call CPU in trainning at my country. (so funny as you hear that rights Ha ha )
Paying attention to t* CPU and Chipsets
when it is stable, trying get more FSB at the same Vcore and burnning. util you feel CPU can not be get more....descrease Vcore for alittle and burnning it for stable.

last one:
Changing timmings of ram to get faster but I think You will get problem at 2v9.
That is my ways. other members will help you more

 

BTW, I think you have been got a bad code CPU, it can not be OCed so far

i can only oc my 3.2GHz prescott to a 3.4GHz.. after that windows will run but aquamark gets errors.. i think its because of my value ram.. but i dont have any speed issues so im not bothered by this, yet. also, i only use Core Center to overclock it automatically. i guess i could use dynamic overclocking, but then i dont know how to see how far it goes up

 

did you adjust Vdim allitle higher ? Olley. Most of ram can not be died at 3v, though they are value Ram

fella... please tell me how to check the code either its capable to OCed or not... Im using barton core w/ 1.75 Vcc (Vdd modded - NF7 abit revision 2)

by the way, currently, running Oced system w/o error (Sandra Burning 30 times w/o error) .. and its at 225MHz FSB x 10 multiplier + KingMax PC3500 2.5-3-3-7 (using stock cooling parts - Cpu HS and Modded NB HS)... its posibble to get higher than 238Mhz FSB but have to lowering down its multiplier till 9.5 with 1.75 Vcc suplied to the core of processor..

i knew, you've been using 1.9+ Vcc on your barton core for OCed box.. but dont you afraid to overwhelming the core to much for its voltages which can caused permanent damaged? are you using water cooled solution for its temps. problems??

Yeah, But my mobo NF7 is not good at Vdim max only 2v9 so I can not OC the way you show, (230x10 or 240x10). 215x12 at 1v9 cas 2 2 2 4. I am so lazy moding them directly 3v3 that 's a problem to get high score.
At amoment I use WC I tried at 2v2 it is OK .
what about your Vdim ?

 

fella... my Vdimm still 2.9! (afraid to make Vdimm mod) i cant get hi-er than that since i didnt do any Vdimm/3.3 rail mods. and im not using WC system.. still using stock HS on top of the barton core... and never get below than 50 celcius! (64+ is hi-est)..

anyway, looking forwar to build WCed system soo soon.. because today i've already have the radaitor which i just bought from the auto-parts which cost me about 13 bucks! (dont have money to buy new one! )

 

full load at 64*c is so hot, I think with the the WB system t* will be better.

Getting over Error message, adjust timmings of ram, allite more Vcore and vdim of ram and paying attention to t* of CPU. Vdim of ram >3v or more
Give me more your mobo of Vdim and timmings of ram

 

ok, i dont really know what the Vdimm is . but i know that the cpu temps are safe, they dont go over 62C at the moment.
here are my voltage readings from Core Centre:

Vcore = 1,36v
3,3v = 3,26v
+5v = 5,03v
+12v = 12,02v

for more details i took pictures from my BIOS. My Mobo is a MSI PT880 Neo Series and i run a 3,2GHz Prescott

first donot change anything:
set Sytem auto shut down for CPU at 65*c for protecting (in bios )
adjust CPU voltage to 1v45,1v5 , changing CPU FSB to 210,220,......

Base on picture 1 :
You change timmings of ram, adjust DDR voltage(Vdim) to 3V (Value ram)
By SPD->user define
2 2 2 5 15 and 1t for bus 200 Trp you can adjust from 2-3
2.5 3 3 7 15 and 1t >230 Trp you can adjust from 3-4
3 4 4 8 15 and 1t > 270 Trp you can adjust from 4-5
no need changing other but raid aliitle DDR Voltage (Vdim)-picture 2
Dram Bus you can set at auto or 200 or go down if they can not stand at over bus depend on bus of CPU(1/1)

Base on Picture 2:
ADJ CPU Frequency from 200-210-220-230-240......
DDram Clock it depend on bios from 266-500 or 1/1 ,1/2, 2/3, 3/4 .....
AGP clock from 66-99 it depend on VGA card you can OC to 70 75 80.....
(at amoment I OCed at 99 with Heatsink mode)
CPU voltage 1.378 at DF-> 1.4, 1.4x, 1.5x it denpend on CPU t* and get high core you must change other CPU heatsink (I used WB -Water Block System Vcore at 1v7)
DDr voltage 2v6x at DF -> 3v for Value ram or more >3v1-3v4 for TCCD, BH5
CPU ratio was Clocked that mean you can not change it lower due to get high FSB.

SS05 v1.20 get 13,292 points

 

Any prossesor can be overclocked from the top of the line CPU to the prossesors in PDAs....and even some digy cams....( a freind of mine has a digy cam he can play doom on http://forums.majorgeeks.com/images/smilies/wink.gif ....
