Your Probably Getting Tired Of Hearing This.....

Hi I have been running windows 7 for years now, finally got a virus i could not undo. So i wiped w a kill disc, and reloaded my disc with 7 ultimate (7601 service pak 1) Now i am getting that old message.... no device installed. As you have guessed by now everything works, just no audio. Can anyone tell me what the best fix is currently out there? I went thru this years back and like a true e-2 did not take notes. You can bet i will this time. Hurry before i start drinking over this Thnx T

 

Hi David, d thank you for responding. I wanted to tell you I think I got it. I have audio now, and the video is , well, mostly smooth. The computer is, was a Emachine 3118, with an amd 6000 series processor. running Nvidia controls. Last nite I came back to your site and downloaded a program from SlimWare utilities. Fantastic stuff. Buzzed right thru and in about ten min I knew what I needed, they offered to install, and I am so very pleased. They are Gods among men in my opinion. Tell Major Geek that they are the joint chiefs. Thank you so much for a wonderful site, beyond expectations. I am on a fixed income, but I will not forget you first of the month. By the by my screen says Gateway when I turn it on, it was a cobble as you go affair. I was entering the wrong brand and getting the wrong solutions. I HIGHLY recommend people run that scan.
