I'm having a problem where youtube freezes and I get 5 dots that circle before it plays again for another second or two. I realize this can happen sometimes but I'm getting it on every single thing I try to view anything on youtube. I have downloaded and have used veoh. Could that be causing my difficulty or should I be looking elsewhere for the root of this problem? and if so where?

    Hi

What Windows Version and Service Pack you using?

Have you updated Adobe Flash? if not try the below

Vista is still new to me and it is preventing me from deleting the flash folder. it gives me destination folder access denied. It mentions user settings. I managed to delete one of the files inside the folder itself but flash9f.oxc remains.

I'm guessing I need to somehow change the access level of my main user or log on as an admin but I do not know how to do that.
    Sorry for the complication

Either ur broadband's ****in up, Youtube is purposely blockin you or its a browser problem.

1 - See if you can watch videos off other streaming sites.

2 - Go to a proxy website that allows streaming and try watch it from there.

3 - Try using a different browser or two.

I worked out how to delete the files and I managed all the steps but the Registry tools one since I didn't know which ones they are or where to find them. It is still freezing every second or two for an additional second or two.

After I had done all the steps you listed (save that one) I went to youtube and it required a flash addon to be downloaded. I did so but it is still stalling on me.

I'm still getting the freezing problem. I'm using service pack 1 for vista. Windows also seems to chronically want to update it to version 2 but I get an unknown error code 800706BA and if I click get help with this error nothing useful seems to come up.

I'm still curious what registry tool I'm supposed to be running, although I get the feeling it may not matter because of some testing I've done. I've smart defragged the c: it was only at .22% fragged. I've tried alternate browsers and streaming sites, every one I've tried will play for about 2-3 seconds and then load for 2-3 seconds before playing again (seems like longer though) If I pause the playing for a minute or more of the video most sites will increase the amount of pause free play time by 10-12 seconds.

I'm guessing this it is likely my isp starving the feed of packets enough that it cannot steam properly. I downloaded a large game the other day and noticed it jumping from a max of around 450kbsp to 0 kbps. (that's with just the bare minimum of things running (although I think there is some tutorial of double checking what may be running as well and might hogging the connection.

Any further advice or instructions to try and further deal with this problem would be useful.
