Hello, you guys prolly know what this thread is about. I have gone through all the threads on here and to no avail, they have not worked. so yea, i have done every thing from dl'ing the new flash to dl'ing the debugging content to enabling my javascript to uninstalling and reinstalling everything. and after everything, i get this:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

Can you guys please help me out, im at my wits ends, my girlfriends laptop has all the same settings as mine, and her's works just fine. Thank you in advance!

Do you have the latest version of java installed? Go to java.com and click on do I need java link to be sure. That might correct the javascript error your getting.

:majorJust Checking but have you.. wait first what browser do you use. Normally just go to options or tools then clear the cache for the time since your youtube hasn't worked but it would be safer to clear the cache from all times

Thanks guys, i'll keep you informed.

O.k. Tell you what clear cache on all browsers delete browsing history and also delete passwords then download ccleaner and scan on default setting and then remove all. After that ... no actually tell what antivirus you have

yea i have deleted all of the browser stuff, i frequently use CCleaner and i think i deleted all the cache's (are they under internet tools also?). I am using Symantec Corporate Edition and i also have MalwareBytes. I just recently aquired MBAM though, this has been happening before i even got that, and i havent changed anything with Symantec to make youtube not work suddenly. I dont think at least. Thanks!

    http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html
and download and run Windows Flash Player 9 Active X control content debugger for IE. I would also downloaded the Flash projector content debugger for windows just for good measure

Download this and see what happens, if not I have a few more tricks

    Like:
Just go to this website: http://www.softwarepatch.com/ Search for flash player

and download and install this file. I guess the problem of everybody is because the link on youtube´s website downloads a "non functional file ". this is my personal opinion........

This new .msi file will solve you the problem.:-D

that didnt work, i have dl'd the debuggers already and i can find an .msi patch. only flashplayer itself. but i re-dl'd it and it still doesnt work.
