If there are two more valuable pages ANYWHERE on the web for all of us poor victims of Windows frustrations, I challenge anyone to post those sites here.

I've fought the increasingly complex battles against Malware of all sorts, across numerous iterations of Windows platforms, and I fancy myself pretty good at it for a non-techie. But having stumbled across these two sites yesterday, and after following VERY CAREFULLY the step by step directions for both my work laptop (XP) and home Dell (98), I am ECSTATIC at the results.

The software recommendations -- RIGHT ON!
The explanations -- CRYSTAL CLEAR!
The results -- PERFECTION!

I don't know if you realize what an incredible contribution these two pages are to the new world, but after 10 years of searching and learning a lot by trial and error, I can safely say I've found NOTHING as useful and important as your site.

I look forward to exploring some of these other forums in-depth and finding more gems. Thank you again, and I will tell anyone that if you want to fix problems with your PC, go FIRST (and probably last) to these two sites!

I agree whole heartedly agree this is a great great site god knows how many computers bjgarrick has saved.

 

Bjgarrick and Chaslang...and many others around here are scary smart...but at the same timethey know that everyone using this site is not a computer genius!!

We are also currently working a fairly large project to further help facilitate the process of helping people with their malware issues. The first part of the project will provide mostly internal Malware Fighters with tools to help guests. The second part will allow guests to submit logs and view the results or request one of our malware fighters to review them for you. Ahh. there's more to it than that, but this is just a basic "what's to come"... we should be rolling out a beta for internal testing this January.

LOL Cool !! We won't even need to log on anymore. They'll just know when a person's computer has malware and zap it automatically. This place just keeps getting better

 

hey, we use whatever skills we can .. doesn't matter. Infact, our 3rd iteration of the software will interface with psychic twins who live submerged in a pool of water to determine who, what, when and where the next malware epidemic will originate from.. how cool is that!!
