zebra tlp2742

i am having issues with a zebra label printer it worked fine the day before and now today it doesn't work at all it's also saying when i go into properties that the drivers arent all installed for this device and asked to instll them now or just continue. so i do and i have to do that every time when i want to go to properties. i don't quite understand what else to do i'm running this on a win2k pro computer which it has been for about 2 years now. suddenly it stopped working i even uninstalled the drivers and re-installed it. i even deleted it from the registry. so idk what else to do anyone have any ideas?

 

did you update the machine at all? is your computer set to receive auto updates? anything in the event viewer?

 

yep the computers all up to date as up to date as it can get. nothing is in the event viewer. i think i might have figured it out, i tried a different zebra driver and it seems to be working. the thing i don't get is what could have went wrong with the driver that i was using for the past 2 years just all of a sudden it didn't work. now that i changed to a universal driver it works fine a little slow but fine
