your awfully helpful rolleyes ive read the instructions a dozen times for each program. on 11 photos it saves me about 1Mb-10Mb i need to send about another 20 photos also and charter has a cut off at 9Mb per email. theres got to be a better way than sending this poor person about 9 emails.

I think the problem is much easier here...I take a lot of photos and when I download them from the camera to the computer they are very large, what I have found is if I open them up in a photo editor, I use photoshop, and then save them to another folder, even if I do nothing to them, it saves them much smaller in file size even though the image is exactly the same. I think a lot of times there is extra there so that the camera, etc can access the image format. I have notice that the last picture I took to post on this site was way to large so I opened it up in photoshop, then went back here since I forgot the size limit, went back to photoshop and saved the file, and it ended up being small enough after I saved it the it was before, right out of the camera. As far as compressing your photos to make them smaller, they don't compress a whole lot, and the more depth (32bit, etc) they have the less they will compress. The only other options you may have would be to RAR the whole file then select the option to split the file into junks up to the limit you can send then e-mail them junk at a time, then all the other has to do is put them all in a folder and un-RAR the first and it will do all of them.
    Hope this helps....

    thank you dakz
you answered alot of questions i had.
the biggest cause of problems here is that i need to send them at their highest resolution (i think it was 8 megapixel). wondered if that would cause compression problems. think im just going to send two at a time. im done with this insanity:banghead

See thats the problem then, not a whole lot to compress then, your best bet is to send them 2 at a time, or try what I suggested above just to see how much it reduces the size of the file.
