Zone Alarm Issues

I have XP and Zone Alarm Pro. I suddenly find that I have to shut down ZA in order to download a program and/or PDF file. In fact, when I try and download a pdf file it says "Cannot find adobe reader". When I shut down ZA all can be downloaded. Can someone help? Thanks, David

If that doesn't help, try this to reset ZA to defaults:

1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode.
2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
4. Reboot into the normal mode.

I have IE 7. Where is "Mobile Code Control" and "Cookie Control"? I can't seem to find it under internet options?

 

Zone Pro Console
Mobile is under Privacy > Main
Cookie is in the same window under Mobile > Custom

 

OK. Found it. I already have those settings in ZA. Is there any other way to resolve my download problems other than restoring ZA to its default settings?

Just found it - I "trusted" all the Adobe ones but not the IE one. Now that I did that, all is fine. Thanks for the good advice. David
