For months, ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite has claimed on its box to be "Vista ready," but users found otherwise.

Fortunately, the company has now released a Vista version of the suite and promises to make it up to customers."

Now not an app I would recomend, doesnt work too great in Vista ( my own observation ) and is becoming bloatware! they should just have stuck to firewalls, adding AV etc etc was not best move IMHO.

But then Vista doesnt have any good 3rd party firewalls yet, next up Comodo!

Maybe it will become better as they adjust and update this app, but they missed the boat and had too many excuses in developing this app... personally I still dont think they have it right and thus as I said wouldnt recomend this for Vista users.

Ya Halo, I remember the beta wanted to install the other stuff and I said no when asked. Upon update time, it installed the other stuff anyways. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed and at the time I chalked it to being a beta. I'll load it up on a clean Vista and check it out. I'll also try Comodo again as when I tried it, it wasn't nearly ready enough. I'm currently using Vista Firewall Control and it works well enough for me.

I downloaded this and just like the beta version my pc hangs 1/4 of the way into it. Im doing nothing wrong, I am sure. Ive tried with and without admin privelages on.

Ive just downloaded the install program again to try on my other PC later or tomorrow. If it dosent work I will be very disapointed.

When you guys talk of bloatware. Is it basically the same as the XP version? Or is there even more bulk to it than that?

Roll on Comodo, like you said before Halo.
