zone alarm pro (need help)

ive got zone alarm pro for my pc but when i go to update it i get a msg saying validation failed for C:\DOCUME~ME\LOCALS~\TEMP\VSINT.DLL. It also says im may be missing a root certificate. now my question is: is this to do with zone labs or my pc because this has never happened b4 only since i formatted my pc yesterday im not happy because i cant update my security because of this. my zone labs has been registered with zone labs. can anyone help?

 

Only real way to fix it, is by uninstalling Zone Alarm, and reinstall to see if that will fix it. Also, are you getting the error from a "Limited' user account, or a "Admin" user account?

 

Uninstall ZoneAlarm first.

Then go to the following site and update your Root Certificate. Just follow the onscreen instructions.

Reinstall ZoneAlarm.
