Zone Alarm Pro Problems

I have installed the 1yr free version of zone alarm pro as offered to users of zone alarm free but now I am the only user of the computer that zone alarm works for. When all other users logon zone alarm comes up with the msg that zone alarm has encountered a problem and needs to close you then get the debug or close options either of which just seems to close the program. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.:confused

I have no answer for you. Perhaps someone with more experience with Zonealarm will be able to help you.

 

Yes I did fill out the form but have had no reply or aknowledgement that it has been received as yet that is why I asked here as I an tearing my hair out. Maybe I would be better to ditch zone alarm and try another firewall. Everything worked ok when I was using the free version.

 

I have just re-formatted because of ZA Pro.
The firewall would not allow some of my programs to update (it blocked Internet access) and would not let me configure the updates to have Internet connection.
so i tried to un-install it,that worked fine but for some reason the firewall did not delete and continued to block some sites so after 4 days of trying to find the file on the PC (it just did not seem to exist) i took drastic action and re-formatted.

This may have nothing to do with your problem so treat it as info.
