Zone Alarm Probs

OK....I downloaded zonealarm.

Setup per their suggestions i.e. took the 15 day free trial to be changed to free version later.

Now I cant get into hotmail and God knows what else.
I can sign into msn but when it goes to the hotmail screen all I get is the detect network settings stuff.
If I shut off zone I can get in...no warnings, nothing.

Anyone else having problems?

Hi Ken First off, have you checked your configurations? Is ZA set to "invisibly" protect you? If it is, you might want to turn off the invisible part and have it notify you when it blocks a program so you can tell it it's okay to let the proggie access the internet. Is "mail safe" on? Hotmail and ZA mail safe might have issues. Have you checked "program control" to make sure hotmail is not blocked? And lastly, is it the latest version of ZA? Check here and make sure your version numbers match up with the latest Vnumber of ZA free.
