What Does Registration Of The Free Version Do?

 

When the authorization window pops up, look in the lower left and you will see a small box to tick that says "remember this setting" or words to that effect. Tick it and it will remember that particular authorization.AFAIK, ZA runs all of the time as default whether a window is open or not unless you have configured it differently. This does not concern me as ZA uses little resources.
The registration simply registers the proggie to you. I think it has to be registered to get updates, etc.

Nope, I'm not sure exactly what registrating does but I know it does a lot more then that, it gives you zone alarm pro and a bunch of new features i think.
