    I think I have a problem, but I don't know.

today is the first day I am using high speed internet. before today I had dial up internet for the longest time. just got this box from Rogers called NetComm. I am also using Windows7 on a brand new computer, where I was using an older version of XP on a different computer.
I have always used ZoneAlarm for firewall in the past.
today I noticed an outgoing alert. Policy- "Personal Policy" and Rule- ExtBlockAll2. any idea what this means?
I have also noticed that I can be online for couple hours now and yet no incoming alerts. I used to get incoming alerts before, but would that have been because I had a server assigned IP where now I maybe have always the same IP?

is ZoneAlarm the firewall I should be using? or there a better one for Windows7?

You will not get incoming alerts. Your NetComm box has a hardware firewall. That will block all inbound traffic except for the web sites you request.

Windows 7 firewall is good too.
