zonealarm free installing error

I have a problem installing ZoneAlarm free 8.0.298.000 After I've gone through the selection process it goes to start installing and i get an error it says, " This patch package could not be opened. Cantact the applications vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer patch package" and ive tried installing it twice and i get the same error help would be appreciated thank you

Have you downloaded it a second time, in case the first was corrupted?

have you seen this article from the vendors web site referring to this problem.it gives you a few steps to follow re installation " http://forums.zonelabs.com/showthread.php?p=264249 ".

 

Check this first, the server has had problems betwwen the OP and now, maybe another download attempt is needed before doing the reinstall.
