    Could anyone please recommend the best security settings for ZoneAlarm Pro (v6.1.744) :eek:

    I connect to the net via a cable modem. Thanx!

    On my firewall main tab I have:
    Internet Zone Security = High
    Trusted zone Security = Medium

    I connect through a router to a cable modem.

    I have those settings too, (I think they're the defaults in ZoneAlarm Pro)...
    Thanks anyway, I was looking for a little more detail, but I do appreciate your input. Anybody else have any suggestions?

    PS- I also connect through a router

    Algraze, you may want to do a search in our software forum on ZA. There have been many threads there addressing configuration you may find helpful.:)

    Also, if you would prefer(?), I can move this thread to software where you would likely get more feedback from other users of ZA.

    don't forget to set up your private infromation (id lock->my vault) this will stop important information from being harvested from your computer, without your knowledge;)

    Already done!

    Went through the software threads for ZoneAlarm, got a couple of pointers (ie - putting the DHCP server (not only the DNS servers) in my trusted zone network) but nothing really detailed came up...

    Any other suggestions?
