zonealarm

    Hi all, I was thinking of getting ZoneAlarm pro cuz i heard it is a very good firewall, but i also heard its a resource hog,..is this true? And should i just get the free one instead.

    Sygate is just as good or better, along with other sotware. Problem with Zonealarm, is sometimes it does not always play well with others.

    You could download and try Zone Alarm Pro and if you dont like it you can try Sygate Free...I have never heard of Zone Alarm being resource hungry :eek: Either firewall you pick will be a good choice..

    Pro can be a little resource hungry like Norton, due to all of the modules that are loaded.
