    Hi

I have bought a 3 ZTE MF10 wireless router off e bay. I am wondering if it is faulty, the seller insists it is not.

I have a 3 Huawei E353 Hi Link dongle, I have checked various sites and found that it is compatible. When the dongle is in my lap top I receive a very strong and fast signal (I am in Wallingford, Oxfordshire). However when I put the dongle in the hub, the lap top connects to the hub , the network centre says hub connected but no internet signal. I gather from this that for some reason the hub is not getting the signal from the dongle even though it is inserted. I have tried resetting the hub back to factory settings by keeping the power button pressed. Also tried moving it around to different positions, but I would not have thought that mattered as I gather the dongle is the signal receiver.

A further problem I am having is that when I retry the dongle directly into my lap top it does not work, the blue light on the dongle is solid but lap top has no internet. However I have found if I turn the lap top of and on again the dongle then works in the lap top.

I have tried it on another lap top, same result

Can anyone please give me some idea if I am right in thinking the hub is faulty in which case I will return to seller for a refund, but would like to try and be sure first.

Many thanks to anyone who helps.
