Google Hangouts Will Not Install Plug In.

Hi,
I am running Windows 7 Pro. Trying to install Plug in for Google Hangouts & upon verification message states
try again. Ran several times, but will not install.

 

The plug in is usually browser specific. Which Web Browser did you use when downloading it?

Can you please say how you resolved it? That's for the benefit of other people reading this thread who have the same problem.

 

I cleaned up all temp Files. Scanned hard Drive with Maleware Bytes which found several threats. I removed threats & Hangouts was then able to make Video Calls in Chrome, not FireFox....

Thanks for letting us know. As you say it still wont work in Firefox clearly there is still a problem but if you can live with that then fine.
However, if you feel there might be a deeper Malware issue on your system, then your best action would be to carry out the steps in the Read & Run Me First Malware Removal Guide
when completed attach the scan logs in a new thread in the Specialist Malware Forum (not here!)
An expert will then help you further.
