Invalid backweb application id 1940576

    Every time i start up my pc i get the runner error invalid backweb application id 1940576. I hit ok then all is fine until i restart my pc again. I have ran hijackthis and this is what i got. And please if you see anything else that needs to be fixed that will benefit me say something. Any and all help will be appreciated!

    Hi

    Seems you have a faulting Compaq Connections application, this startup uses Backweb to run, but its not a needed application so can be removed.

    O4 - Global Startup: Compaq Connections.lnk = C:\Program Files\Compaq Connections\1940576\Program\BackWeb-1940576.exe

    its this line in your HJT log.

    and this is info on the application http://www.hp.com/united-states/cpc/presario/connections_faq.html so you can make your mind up if you wish to keep it or not.

    So any suggestions on wether or not to keep or delete or dose it matter?
