Major internet headache

    I find it impossible to write anything in my internet. As I type, the typing auto erases what I type and even changes line on me. So I have to redo most of my typing (messaging).
    I have gone through the procedure offered on this site with different type of virus and malware software to no avail.
    I have had my hard drive reformatted and reinstalled Vista. I entered the full package of AVG and went on the internet again

    We cannot help you if you do not attach the requested logs. They are the required visibility into your system.

    If you have actually reformatted and reinstalled, it is very unlikely but not impossible that your problems are malware. You may want to check to make sure that you are not having hardware issues with your keyboard and or mouse.

    Thanks for the info but how do I detect the problems. I did again on 9/14 reformat my HD and reloaded vista and there you go.
    No sooner did I open my internet, it was right back to aggrevate me.
    I does not act up in Words just on the net

    By trying a different keyboard and mouse so that they can be ruled out. And also by attaching the logs we asked for. As stated, it is quite simple, no logs, no help since we don't know where to begin without the logs.

    Do you have an anitvirus, realtime antispyware protection and a real firewall (not the Windows firewall) installed and were they installed before connecting to the internet?

    When you reinstalled, did you install anything other than Windows (besides protection software)? It is always possible that if this is an infection that you are reinstalling it.

    Thanks for your reply. I cant seem to be able to find the area you recommended for the logs. Would u please reinstruct me again.
    When I reintered Vista, I had to go to the internet to download the full package of AVG.
    Once downloaded, I checked my hotmail and type something just to find out the same problem all over again. I have a laptop and plugged in a mouse as you requested and same problem. I have not tried another keyboard cause I dont have one handy.

    It is step 4 of the this: Vista Cleaning Procedure

    Wrong approach. You need to already have you antivirus, antispyware and fiewall save on a CD so that you can install them before your PC is ever connected to the internet.

    Until I see the logs from the malware removal procedure, I cannot comment any further other than saying that about 990 times out of 1000, keyboard and mouse issues are hardware related.

    Well I finally got my keyboard/mouse problem solved. It took a young lady to solve it for me and left me very embarassed.:-o
    It seem as I type on my laptop, I lean my hands on the mouse pad at the same time which is why I kept jumping all over the screen and even erasing paragraphs at a time.
    I've had this problem for 6 months or more now and happy its resolved.
    I would like to thank all who have helped me to date on Major Geeks cause for one thing, I am much smarter today then I was yesterday.:wave

    You're welcome. We are happy to hear you have found the cause of your problem. As I said, "about 990 times out of 1000, keyboard and mouse issues are hardware related" but this time the hardware was you. ;)
