malware and virus removal

    wish to help- with malware removal

    I have recently joined this forum, I am a member of other forums the main one being smartcomputing where I have been a member since 8.3.2005 during that time I have helped resolve many malware and virus problems as well as other problems I believe I am quite expert in the removal of malware and would like to help on this forum. I am also on tech support forum and to a lesser extent on bleeping computer on all forums my user name is the same as the one I am using here.:-D

    Thanks i've looked through it and I have posted applying to be a malware removal helper stating what other forums I am on and am now awaiting a reply.:-D

    I'm sorry, but I don't see where you have been posting on TSF or BPC to help remove malware. You are not authorized on those sites to post malware removal help. I do see where you have asked a lot of questions at TSF.

    Also I see you posting at forums.techguy.org and you are not authorized to post malware help there either.

    Where exactly are you helping to remove malware that is publicly shown? Sorry, but we don't consider the paid smarcomputing forum as a reference. I'm not saying you don't know how to remove malware, it may be that you have some background, but I see no evidence of it. Also you do not have a history here on Major Geeks posting in our other Tech Forums that would help us to know more about you.

    Also what did you mean you want to do a course on malware and virus removal. We already have a a sticky thread guide and many special procedures posted.

    Course I dont have a history on major geeks,smartcomputing has been my main forum since 2005. I occasionally go to tech support forum I did say I hav'ent been to bleeping computer very often but I am a member of the forum. I have helped many people with malware problems on smartcomputing over the years I am self taught. I just recently joined tech org I am a member of many more forums some I have forgotten. I do ask a lot of questions on all the forums I am on but I answer a lot as well, I believe in using forums both ways question and answer. Nobody knows everything but some think they do, like you so called malware experts. Keep up the good work its your loss.

    Your attitude will get you no where. I did not say we know everything. You implied it. Sorry but perhaps this applies the other way around.

    I did not say anything negative towards you. I just wanted supporting information since you wish to help. You have no history here so we know nothing about you and for the safety of our user's we have always restricted who is allowed to respond to threads in the Malware Forums. It took a few years after we did this before other forums finally followed suit. You could have easily started helping in the other Tech Forums on Major Geeks to establish a history on posting style, knowledge, and temperament. All of these are important traits.

    It sure sounded negative to me, its no good to me that you cant check me out on my main forum smartcomputing where everyone knows me. Sorry if you thought I had an attitude but I wanted to come back to this forum I liked the look of it, now it looks as if I wont be coming back all that much as my main interest is malware and virus removal.:-D
