I'm so confused

I hope I am posting this in the right place. I am as close to computer illiterate as you can get.

I did everything under > Fixing Google Redirection/Hijacking Problems

I did not do> Uninstalling Multiple Protection Applications because I don't think I have more than one and couldn't find any

I did:
> Step 3: Configuration & Setup

>Step 4: Disable Any Disk Emulation Software (like Daemon Tools..etc)
>Step 5: Temp File/Folder Cleaning

Then I did> Step 6: Windows OS Specific Cleaning Instructions

Vista and Win 7 Malware Removal/Cleaning Procedure


Now Hitman Pro said I had all kinds of problems with trojans and what-not, which I did the "ignore" thing for everything like you all said.... but so far after doing all that I'm not having problems like I was before.

Should I worry about those things or did it get resolved?

Or should I wait to see if I start having problems again?

I'm sorry if I did something wrong-- you guys are AWESOME!!! I am amazed I managed to do as much as I did with your instructions!!! But I'm one of those old farts who didn't touch a computer till my near 30s and about all I know how to do is play some games, surf the internet and use a word processor program. I am one of those non-techie artsy/fartsy types who can paint your portrait but can't program an electric clock.

So thank you so much, just remember you're talking to someone who is kind of a computer dimwit. Usually when I need to get help instructions will be like "go to the control panel" and I'm like, "huh? How do I find that?" You guys break it down so well, you don't take it for granted I know how to find things. But yeah, I'm that bad.

Hi there. If you have been through the whole removal process outlined on the page you linked to (and linking off of it) then you should be attaching logs from:

• Malware Bytes
• Hitman Pro
• MGTools
