Not the lottery, but he ain't hurting for cash. He has 2 or 3 Hasselblad systems for film, and got this one to 'play' with. I was really amazed at the quality of the pictures. Maybe I can talk him into letting me borrow it sometime. Need photos of my 'new' gun.

Yeah on the lens thing. I'm using a point and shoot, with a 12x optical zoom. It is frustrating getting some shots I want with it. I'm ready to move up. Two cameras I just heard of from friends. One is a P&S, but 42x optical zoom. Gotta read the reviews on the lens, yet. And another is supposed to be 800x. Yet to find that one. but I have good ggogle skills.
Don't be surprised by the barrage of pics I put up. I've been there 5 years and never put anything up. Its time to clean up my albums anyway. And most of mine are just interesting to me, not always good ones.
Glad you had a good time and got some good pics.

EDIT: Not changing anything, just making an observation. I may have good google skills, but my typing sucks.

Yep, way out of my price range. He bought his off EBay for a little under $7k. His other 'Blads are the film type. I used to shoot a lot with them. Sweet camera. Just pricey.

I use to love the medium format stuff. Old Rollieflex TLR was a fun one also.

My dream is getting a full frame Nikon. Even that is out of my price range.
