I've programmed and compiled a programm with devcpp and it doesn't works but on linux it runs. So, why do programms run on linux in official c++language and on win-xp (devcpp) they don't???

There can be tons of reasons. First off any system calls would break it immediatly. Since as it implies a system call is a something run by the users system. Which means they vary with diffrent OS's.

Without seeing the code it's hard to say exactly what was written that doesn't work. It could be something minor or it could be tons of things.
