Google Search Hijacked Firefox

Oh man I am sooooo frustrated! I have a Dell Insipiron windows 11 64bit. 16 gigs memory. I like firefox for its certain features, Anyway for some crazy reason google is locked into being my search bar when I do not want it to be my search bar, I canged it in setting it still stay on google. I even removed and deleted the google search bar in settings and it still is the search bar. I HATE GOOGLE! Anyway I uninstalled firefox and cleared out files and it still comes back as google in the search bar. Google is a nightmare and I want it completely off my firefox. I would appreciate the help

In Firefox, click + to open a new tab. In the list of Apps mid page find the Google icon and click the ... at the top right and then click unpin.

 

It's not clear what settings you changed but this one will fix it

 

I changed that to another search engine but it wont go away. I even deleted it from the search engine in the search section.It still comes back in the search on browser.

 

Did you unpin and/or dismiss from the New tab page?
